Summer Fun Continues in Downtown Denton

Summer fun continues this month beginning tonight with First Friday Denton.  First Friday is a fun night of gallery hopping in downtown Denton where you can check out the local art scene and maybe even put your mark on a community art piece.  The fun takes places the first Friday of each month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Check out their website  www.firstfridaydenton.com for details. Arts, Antiques & Autos - Family Fun for Everyone

The classic, hot rod and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles are the main attraction this September at the Denton Main Street Association’s (DMSA) Arts, Antiques & Autos event Saturday, Sept.8th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., around the historic Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square, 110 W. Hickory Street. 

A new feature of the event this year includes an art contest with hand-rendered or digitally produced entries focusing on the courthouse, downtown buildings and iconic Denton sites, automobiles, motorcycles, antiques, or other things that represent the event and Denton. Artists may enter for FREE with a chance to win prizes and see...


Arts, Antiques & Autos this weekend!

This weekend is a great time to come to downtown Denton to kick off the Fall season, and we have a great forecast for fun, too.  Catch a glimpse at some cool cars, fantastic art, have a treasure appraised, listen to some live music, bid in a downtown silent auction, enter a coloring contest, have your photo made in an antique car, and enjoy a day in downtown with family and friends. There are no age limits on the fun!
